Assignment Criteria
Students will complete both of the following:
- Autism and Arts Education Symposium Attendance
- Attend the symposium from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on April 24 and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 25 on the UNI campus.
- Select and participate in the sessions most relevant to your professional needs.
- Choose two sessions for which to submit a reflective paper articulating how the presentations will impact your future practice.
- Attend the symposium from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on April 24 and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 25 on the UNI campus.
- Three-page Reflection Paper
- Typed and double-spaced, with 1-inch margins on all sides.
- Title page that includes the following:
- Your name
- Instructor’s name (see below)
- Course title - Workshop: Autism and Arts Education
- Presenters’ names, days and times of the sessions attended.
- Your name
- Questions for reflection include:
- How do these presentations influence my future teaching practices?
- In what ways did the ideas presented change my dispositions, knowledge and/or instructional practices?
- What personal connections can I make to the ideas presented?
- How do these presentations influence my future teaching practices?
- Typed and double-spaced, with 1-inch margins on all sides.
Mail your assignments (keep a copy for yourself) to the course instructor by Friday, May 8, 2015. (Instructor names and email addresses can be found on previous page.)
